A rare 18th century period amboyna occasional table. The slightly overhanging octagonal top inlaid with chequered ebony and boxwood lines, and centered by a circle, inlaid with radiating fans. The frieze containing a small working drawer. Raised on elegant tapering square legs terminating in what appear to be the original brass cappings and castors.

Of rich mellow colour and well patinated.

Useful as a lovely side table, lamp table, or small centre table.

From a deceased estate.
