Description

Early George II period antique English walnut tallboy, or chest on chest.
The top section containing three short drawers beneath a cavetto cornice.
The base with three long drawers and raised on bracket feet.
Brass mounts correct for period but not original.

The whole veneered in well figured walnut and inlaid with herringbone lines.

NB. Note the features of bold fluted angles both top and bottom, together with a sunburst in the base.
Both features are a sure sign of good quality and add considerable interest and value to this antique.
