This ‘country house’ oak revolving late Georgian, Regency, period drum top library table has an assortment of alternating real and dummy drawers in the frieze.

English, early 19th century, c.1820.

Raised on a well drawn simple tapering central column and base with carved feet.
Brasses correct for period but later.

This versatile antique can be used as a centre table, or small supper or breakfast table.

See Christies 24th January 2008 lot 158, for a very similar design of drum top library table (but in mahogany) with “top and base possibly associated” sold @ £9375.00.
