Description

Pair of antique Regency period simulated rosewood and caned armchairs, ca 1810.

Both of these elegant chairs have tight frames and come with loose cushions in piped green velvet, float buttons and ties.
The back splats are centred by radiating caned ovals above horizontal lattice work.
The frames are in simulated rosewood with reserves set within gilt lines.
Raised on unusually faceted and boldly outswept front legs.
