Description

Antique (mid 18th century) carved giltwood mirror.

The later rectangular plate contained within a carved rocaille frame with ‘C’ scrolls and acanthus foliage.

Surmounted by an unusual arched pierced trellis cresting.

The base with a carved shell, oak leaves and ‘C’ scrolls.

Showing traces of old gilding.
