Antique Oil Painting Frederick Goodall RA 1822-1904
This painting on panel is inscribed ” Frederick Goodall born London 1822 Sketch of Village Festival painted 1847 “. In a contemporary, probably original, gilt gesso frame from which it appears never to have been removed. There are some minor losses to the gesso compatible with age.
