Description
A very rare and finely-carved China trade padouk tripod table. Canton, c 1750-1760.
Wonderful carving to the base, and a most unusual bold border to the top.
Its outstanding idiosyncrasies are indicative of China Trade origins.
Most likely made in Guangdong (Canton) China, in the English Chippendale manner.
In superb condition throughout.
