This is of wonderful Chinese Chippendale design: a pierced back of a rarely-encountered scheme. Most have a typical lattice back. Elegantly-splayed and channeled legs united by an H-stretcher. With well-shaped open arms. A very comfortable and sophisticated desk or office chair of generous proportions.
In solid mahogany of good rich colour, in superb condition overall, and very sturdy in its frame, suitable for regular use in any room. The saddle seat upholstered in fine quality Chinoiserie fabric retaining vivid colours and in lovely condition.
