Fine antique English mahogany urn table/ kettle stand of very good colour and patination in its original state. Ca 1760.
The octagonal top with a raised border supported on a well drawn tripod base.
Few of these small and sophisticated pieces of furniture have survived due to the extreme fragility of this design. Furthermore relatively few were originally made. A high level of skills was required by a master cabinetmaker to construct this elegant table.
This antique tripod table is very versatile and can be used as a lamp table or small occasional table.
