Description

late 17th century English Oak Side – Dressing Table with deep rich colour.

The molded, fielded drawer fronts, side runners and ‘bobbin’ turned legs date this table to ca. 1680.

Makes a lovely small dressing table (or ‘vanity’), or occasional table.

This antique is quite small and could be used as a dressing table.

Ralph Edwards refers to these turnings as ‘knob turnings ca. 1650.’ p. 550 Shorter Dictionary of English Furniture.
