Description

A good late 18th century antique Georgian Twin Pedestal Pillar Dining Table in mahogany, retaining two additional original leaves.

The pedestals with well drawn quadruped, moulded down-curved legs terminating in the original cappings and castors. The figured tops of good colour and with a single reeded edge. Brass forks replaced.

Included is a much later additional similar pedestal with its own leaf which extends the table into a three pedestal table with a maximum overall length of 9’6″.

7’10” long by 27″ high by 48″ wide, with the two additional original leaves.
5’10” long with only one of the original leaves added.

These pillar tables are preferable to the numerous other designs of dining table as they are much easier to sit at, and chairs tuck away neatly underneath.
