A large pair of English Regency period (1811-1820) cut-glass crystal and gilt metal lustres/ candelabra, circa 1815.
The blue glass cylindrical bases rising to twin delicately spreading foliate candle branches with eagle heads seizing serpents, and candle holders, all emphasizing a sophisticated lightness of form.
The top tiers hung with cut-glass icicle drops and diamond buttons.
Standing on decorated circular bases.
The elegant whole surmounted by tall, faceted cut-glass pointed finials.
Remarkably complete and in exceptionally original condition.
