Description
A small late 18th century secretaire bookcase / cabinet.
George III period, circa 1790.
Of very good rich colour.
Inlaid and crossbanded throughout.
Only 2’5″ wide.
Mounts are correct for period but apparently replaced in the 19th century.
The domed pediment is centred with a satinwood lozenge.
The whole raised on swept bracket feet, with a shaped apron.
A lovely antique in excellent condition.
From the deceased estate of a lady.
