A George III-period mahogany partner’s desk, ca 1800.
This is a very good quality Georgian English mahogany partner’s desk of classic proportions.
Excellent deep, rich colour and patination.
Later beautifully fitted gilt-tooled green leather top and period brasses. All correct for period.
Working drawers to both sides. Locks and key apparently original. Best-quality English oak linings and dovetails.
Ready to use. Minor historic repairs entirely commensurate with age. A fine quality antique in superb condition throughout.
